Being addicted to drugs is becoming more of a reality, especially for those who have endured a loss of a loved one.
This happened in the town of Burlington, VT. Sean Tyler Stem passed from his addiction to heroin at the young age of 26. Although this occurrence seems all too common, his family wanted to make a more lasting mark.
The Stem family used this experience to combat drug abuse and reach for donations to kick start a campaign supporting drug abuse victims.
The family’s efforts didn’t stop there, engraving a sentimental, yet hopeful, statement for others to see.
The obituary closed with the statement, “If you or a loved one is fighting addiction, please know you are not alone.”
