Google's recent announcement with their new company structure under “Alphabet” has brought much attention. Now, we are hearing news from their Life Sciences division. Google Life Sciences has been working on a number of projects to help people with diabetes.
"We're committed to developing new technologies that will help move health care from reactive to proactive," Andrew Conrad, head of Life Sciences, says in a statement.
The product that DexCom and Life Sciences hope to create is small, disposable, and low-cost, yet effective. Their goal is nothing less than a creating a new testing standard, doing away with finger-prick testing, that will be exclusively sold through DexCom. Read more about it [here] .
